About

The Problem

Do you know three out of five Nepali students are still unaware of the vast world of competitions beyond their classrooms? But the issue doesn't stop here. Even among those who are aware, access to information and resources is often limited to specific social circles.

This creates an uneven playing field, where opportunities are disproportionately distributed. Students from privileged backgrounds, with access to wider networks, often have a significant advantage in securing information about competitions, mentorship, and resources. And, students from underprivileged backgrounds feel the lack of guidance and decide not to compete.

Our Mission

Bidhwan is on a mission to bridge this gap by providing a comprehensive platform that connects Nepali students with a diverse range of national and international competitions. We aim to democratize access to these opportunities, ensuring that every student, regardless of their background, has the chance to explore their potential and represent Nepal on the global stage.

Our Motto: A Call to Action

Our motto, "उत्तिष्ठत जाग्रत प्राप्य वरान्निबोधत" (Arise, awake, and strive for perfection), encapsulates our commitment to inspiring and empowering Nepali youth. We believe that by igniting a passion for learning and competition, we can cultivate a generation of confident, capable, and globally competent individuals.

Bidhwan is more than just a platform; it's a catalyst for change, driving Nepal towards a brighter future.

Words from Founder:

It all started with a simple question I asked 11th graders: "How many of you know about competitions?" The answers I received were filled with mentions of school and local level quiz contests. While the whole world is evolving through various national and international level competitions, we, Nepali students, are still unaware.

This realization sparked a vision within me to bridge this gap and ensure that any peer, juniors are not left behind.Founding Bidhwan was driven by the mission to raise awareness and provide resources to Nepali students about the wide range of competitions available both nationally and internationally. My own journey in discovering and participating in such competitions has shown me how they can transform lives and I want every potential student to have the same exposure.

At Bidhwan, I aim to foster an environment where Nepali students can step out of their comfort zones, embrace new challenges, and proudly represent our country on global platforms.Connecting with peers worldwide, sharing ideas, and growing as global citizens, we can create a supportive ecosystem where every student has the opportunity to shine.
